Kyoto: Silver Garden

The "Temple of Shining Mercy", Jisho-ji, is a Zen temple in the Sakyo ward of Kyoto. It is one of the constructions that represents the Higashiyama Culture of the Muromachi period. Its better known as "Silver Pavilion" or Ginkaku-ji. Before the main hall there is a famous garden and pond. I was there early in the morning and it still was a long wait until I got an unobstructed view on the garden.
A very beautiful and tranquil garden even with all the people around and passing by. Don't miss it when staying in Kyoto.
